Information for Families

At Rosecrest, long-term care costs are shared by the resident (accommodation and personal needs) and the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness (Health Care-MSI covered services.)

Those who cannot pay the standard accommodation charge can apply to have their rate reduced through an income-based financial assessment. It is important that the resident’s taxes are completed and filed each year to ensure that the proper financial assessment is maintained.
